THE PITTSTOPS "...Compared to everyone from The Wildhearts to Elvis. Touted as ‘The British Hives’. This strikingly visually band combin trashy sleaze punk with T-Rex tinged glam and marry punk-po sensibility with a sense of fun and style derived from somewhere between 90's grunge and 50's Rock N' Roll, producing a guitar-driven melodic pop noise that is truly distinctive. Their fans include Sahara Hotnights, The Hives, Backyard Babies and Dog Toffee." - www.fivemileshigh.com (2002)

After just 3 years of rock'n roll craziness The Pittstops went their seperate ways. Ant now lives in Stockholm, Sweden and fronts a country rock band. Ant and Kirt occasionally get together and have recorded Country covers with various Swedish rockstars as AntHillandTheMob

Kirt and Dug continue to work together, forming down-tempo/electronica act Tribal Infinity and winning an award for Best Female Fronted band in 2007 after releasing their debut ep Chaos Child which they released on their own label, Unit24 Records

Bass player Marc B is currently a member of critically acclaimed steampunk band The Men That Will Not Be Blamed for Nothing and also performs as a stand up comedian.

Ian who joined the Pittstops as bass player for their final tour in 2003 continues to play bass, and is also often seen loitering around various bars and pub toilets.
